Are you detail-oriented and passionate about ensuring the highest quality standards? Then join this empowered team in Haarlem as a Visual Inspector! In this role, you will play a crucial part in contributing to the manufacture and reliable supply of high-quality pharmaceutical products.
Role Overview: As a Visual Inspector, you will be responsible for performing manual visual inspections on labeled vials, ensuring the detection of defects and potential abnormalities. Your keen eye for detail and commitment to quality will contribute to the safety and integrity of our products. This role is pivotal in maintaining compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Visual Inspection: Examine labeled vials for defects, including cracks and particulate matter, following specific inspection criteria.
- Quality Assurance: Identify and report defects to uphold product quality and safety, strictly adhering to established protocols and GMP requirements.
- Compliance: Understand and follow regulatory requirements and SOPs to ensure adherence to GMP regulations.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of inspections for batch release, quality control assessments, and regulatory audits.
- Collaboration: Work closely with manufacturing team members, including packaging operators, quality personnel, and line supervisors.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Comply with Quality Management System (QMS) requirements.
- Contribute to building a safe and compliant culture.
- Flexibility to perform related tasks to support business needs.
Requirements:
- Willingness to work alternate shifts and/or weekends. (choose your own, 2 or 3 shift, only morning, afternoon or nights!)
- Results-oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Effective collaboration within an integrated manufacturing team.
- Adaptability and precision in response to change.
Language: Proficiency in English and/or Dutch.
Qualifications & Education:
- Visual eye test as part of the hiring procedure.
- Preferred: Apprenticeship, Certificate, or Diploma in a related discipline within food, quality or pharmaceuticals.
- Training provided in visual inspection, safety, and Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Experience: 0-2 years working experience in a pharmaceutical environment.
